Saul barman in line for top hospitality award

SAUL man Michael Vint is up for a hospitality Oscar in this week’s prestigious Janus Awards.

He has been shortlisted for the Bar Manager of the Year award in 21st annual awards, which will be presented at The Ramada Hotel in Belfast on Friday.

The manager of the Hudson Bar said he was excited about the forthcoming awards, whatever the outcome.

“I’m up for The Bar Manager of the Year Award and I’m very honoured to be short-listed for such a prestigious event,” he said.

“It would be a great accolade for The Hudson and for me to win the overall category, but I’m looking forward to a great night no matter what happens.”
