Saintfield juniors enjoy annual presentations

SAINTFIELD Juniors concluded the season with their annual presentations of awards. The post primary group enjoyed a buffet and disco on Friday evening and the primary age group enjoyed their party on Saturday morning.

The club would like to extend their thanks to all the young people for their efforts throughout the year and also to the parents for their continued support.

A special mention has to go to the senior boys who dressed to impress for their event and a particular word of praise for Matthew McClurg. He summed-up the season with a very impressive speech, during which he acknowledged the work of coach Julie Shaw and also the efforts of his team-mates.

The club hope to see all the young people again next season. Those aged 15 years will be moving to the Seniors while year seven children will move from Saturday mornings to Thursday evening training.
