Reilly eliminated in South Down

The TUV's Henry Reilly has been eliminated in South Down.

The veteran Unionist polled poorly and was unable to substantially better his performance in 2011 when he stood for UKIP.

He even suffered the ignominy of being eliminated before the Alliance candidate Patrick Brown who benefitted enormously from transfers from eliminated candidates Joh n McCallister and John Hardy.

The result is the best ever for Alliance in the constituency.
