Police raid illegal drinking den on outskirts of Ardglass

AN ILLEGAL drinking den in Ardglass has been been found by police.

Downpatrick officers located it on Sunday during a police search in the Killough Road area.

Cash from a number of illegal gaming machines, 677 bottles of beer, 1353 tins of beer, 13 bottles of wine and 21 bottles of spirits were taken away from the premises, which has since been closed.

A woman is currently helping police with their enquiries.
