Downpatrick death is probed

POLICE have launched an investigation following the death of a man in Downpatrick last night.

The man’s body was discovered in a house in the Meadowlands estate, off Church Street, this morning and police were called to the area at around 9am.

An ambulance was also called to the estate but the man was confirmed dead at the scene.
