Down triathletes shine

3 August 2022

DOWN Triathlon Club enjoyed a weekend of triathlons with members representing the club at both the Top of the Mourne Triathlon hosted by Newry TC and the Loughrea Triathlon in Galway.

There were 20 athletes from the club who braved the hilly Mourne challenge with some fine results to show for.

As usual, there were four seasons on the day but this didn’t deter the members and they had a great event with some doing their first Olympic distance while others returned to what they knew would be a challenging but enjoyable race on their doorstep.
