Corbett secures top Temple spot

TEMPLE Golf Club’s winter league concluded recently with the winning team not known until the final week.

It was Royal Lytham who were crowned winners with a grand total of 387 winning by a two point margin over Royal Temple. The individual winner was also a close run affair with four people in the running right up to the death, but it was David Corbett who proved victorious.

In his prizegiving speech the captain, Mr Roger Cunningham, thanked those members who braved the elements all winter to make the winter league a success, and congratulated all those who were prizewinners.
