Ballynahinch side named as Ulster Club of the Year

BALLYNAHINCH Hockey Club had a night to remember at the Ulster Hockey Branch awards dinner in the Crown Plaza Hotel, Belfast, on Saturday night.

Having won the Intermediate League, League Cup, Linden Cup and the Irish Hockey Challenge Cup last season, the club practically made a clean sweep of the boards when they were awarded Ulster Hockey’s Club of the Year, Janice Potts won youth coach of the year, Aaron Donnell won young volunteer of the year and William Edgar won sports personality of the year.
