Tractor run to raise money for boy battling cancer

A CHARITY tractor run is taking place in Crossgar this weekend to raise money for a young boy battling cancer.

Saturday’s event is being organised by Crossgar Cumberland True Blue LOL 358 for nine-year-old Zac Fletcher who was diagnosed with Stage 4 Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in May.

Registration will begin at 3pm with the run leaving The Square in Crossgar at 4pm.

The run will then head towards Killyleagh, turning on to Ballywillan Road East before

heading along the Ballywillan Road to Derryboy crossroads, then Shrigley and finally back to Crossgar.

Tractors, cars, motorcycles and lorries are all welcome. There will be a cost of £15 per vehicle, with all proceeds going to The Children’s Cancer Unit Charity.
