ACCLAIMED singer and songwriter Lucy Bell takes to the airwaves tonight.
The talented Downpatrick woman will be the special guest on the Chris Scott Show on FM 105 Down Community Radio at 7pm.
Chris will be chatting to Lucy about her career to date and will be playing three of her songs.
Lucy sings a mixture of folky and alternative pop sounds incorporating her own twist on songs.
She was named Best Female at the Holywood Festival busking competition in 2017, overall winner of the Draperstown Busking Festival in 2018, Panarts Young Singer Songwriter of the Year in 2018 and Rising Star at the Dalriada Festival in 2019.
Over the last three months on FM 105 Down Community Radio Chris has been busy chatting with an array of guests, including David Wilson from Montalto Estate in Ballynahinch, Ann Pinkerton from Runaway Irish Weddings in Crossgar, Brian and Susie Hamilton from Rockhouse Farm, Aidan Harris at Good Morning Down, Mark Withers from Crossgar Raw Honey and Crossgar poet Margaret Drake.
Paddy Anderson from Killyleagh, one of the very few professional flamenco guitar players in Ireland, appeared on the show several weeks ago, bringing a Spanish flavour to the airwaves.
The show is from 7-8pm and is repeated on Sundays from 8-9pm.
