Stage show at Patrician is just the the Ticket

25 January 2023

PATRICIAN Youth Centre members took to the stage last week for an unforgettable musical experience.

The talented group performed Charlie and the Golden Ticket – the story of the boy who won a ticket to tour the most wonderful chocolate factory in the world.

Members played to three full houses on Friday at their John Street base, entertaining school and public audiences with their acting, singing and dancing. There is another show this Sunday afternoon at 3pm.

The Oompa Loompas and Candy Kids dazzled throughout and each and everyone was a star.

Patrician senior youth worker, Yvonne Maguire, congratulated everyone connected with the performance.

She thanked the production team, cast members, friends of Patrician and families for supporting members and children and young people who made the performance possible.

“It takes a great deal of energy and commitment to bring productions to stage,” said Yvonne.

“We are still working in difficult times, with much sickness and other challenges to deal with along the way, so a big thank you and well done to everyone for sticking the pace and seeing it through.”
