St Patrick’s Choral Society marking 60th anniversary with The Addams Family show

ST Patrick's Choral Society is celebrating 60 years of making music with a ‘spooktacular’ show this Halloween weekend.

The Downpatrick-based society will be presenting The Addams Family in St Patrick’s Grammar School on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

It’s scary entertainment packed with laughs and great music from start to finish.

Meet Gomez, debonair head of the family, his sultry wife Morticia and their two children, Pugsley and Wednesday.

There’s also Uncle Fester, who enjoys swallowing lightbulbs, Granny,. who’s always cooking something up in the kitchen, and their ghoulish butler, Lurch.

The leading cast members are: Sean Harkin (Gomez), Jordan Rosborough (Morticia), Fiona Rice (Wednesday), Maya Kelly (Pugsley), Andrew Devonshire (Uncle Fester), Kathryn-Anne 

Simpson (Granny), Aaron McElroy (Lurch), Adam Madine (Lucas Beineke), Tim Pentland (Mal Beineke) and Laoise Carney (Alice Beineke).

Get your Halloween weekend off a great start by coming along — it’s going to be a scream.

Performances are at 7.30pm on Friday and Sunday, and 2pm on Saturday.

Tickets are available online from gr8events.ie. at £18 plus booking fee for Friday and Sunday, and £12 plus booking fee on Saturday. There are concessions for senior citizens and under 16s.
