Seaforde WI members at garden visit

THE ladies of Seaforde Women’s Institute were in for a special treat when they visited Fernhill Cottage Gardens at Spa recently.

To their surprise, there was more to discover. At first glance they thought that it was just the rolling hill in front of the house, but to their amazement new area after area kept popping up.

The group were given a guided tour and after learning more about the area, they enjoyed exquisite homemade delights.

Many of the ladies were able to buy plants at the gardens and highly recommended a visit.

Seaforde WI raised over £500 at their quiz in February which has been distributed between food banks in Newcastle, Ballynahinch and Downpatrick.
