PUPILS at Our Lady and St Patrick’s Primary School in Downpatrick showed off their dancing skills last Friday night.
The Edward Street school staged a hugely successful Strictly Come Dancing charity event in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support which delighted their parents, teachers and friends.
One of the guests was South Down MLA Colin McGrath who described the talent, enthusiasm and ability of the group of young people as “amazing”.
He added: “Well done to all the team and their fabulous work.
“The pupils are a real credit to their school and community and an excellent example of how staff and children can work together to help charity, have fun and let ability shine.”
