VOLUNTEERS from the Mourne Mountain Rescue Team have responded to three calls over a four day period.

Twelve rescue team volunteers who took part in the emergency response were stood down at 7pm.

Early on Saturday morning, the rescue team was asked to assist a walker who suffered a knee injury on Slieve Donard.

Fourteen members responded and stood down at 1.40pm
