DAVY Moore secured was the winner of the Ballynahinch and District Pool League individual competition after a closely contested final with Gary Reid.
Moore, who plays out of Chestnut, did enough to tip the scales 4-3 in the best of seven frames conclusion with Carman’s A player Reid proving a worthy opponent on the day.
Moore went 3-1 up with Reid taking the next two frames to tie the contest at 3-3. A very tense final was edged by Moore to claim individual honours for the third time, having previously won in 2014 and 2018.
The league extends congratulations to all of the finalists and thanks to Ross’s Bar for hosting the event. Also to the referees who did a sterling job.
