A LEITRIM woman will be putting her hospitality business to the test when she goes into battle on TV.
Bridie Smyth is the owner of Pine Tree Hollow Glamping and she will be taking part in Channel 4’s popular series Four In a Bed next week.
Bridie will be up against three other accommodation providers from Northern Ireland in a competition to find the best value for money place to stay.
Located in a rural setting with stunning views of the Mourne Mountains, Pine Tree Hollow Glamping opened in 2018.
It has proven to be a success for Bridie and her family, offering a unique, yet authentic glamping experience for guests who return year after year.
The small, but spacious, fully enclosed site is popular with families and groups. There are three individually themed cabins, one with sleeping accommodation for seven people and the other two able to sleep five people.
Filming took place last October and you can see how Bridie gets on on Channel 4 each evening next week, from Monday to Friday, at 5pm.
Bridie isn’t giving the game away, but says she enjoyed taking part in the programme.
“It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience, even though the filming was intense and the hours were long,” she added.
