THE coming weeks promise to be thrilling for Lecale Trinity Grammar School as they enter the final stages of several key school competitions.
The Year 8 boys soccer team are competing in the Northern Ireland Cup final and the team has shown exceptional skill and determination, making their journey an inspiration for the entire school community.
The Year 12 boys football team are also battling for silverware in the U-16 Northern Ireland Cup.
These players have displayed a ‘never-say-die’ attitude and are just one match away from bringing glory to Lecale Trinity in its inaugural year.
Despite a strong performance, the Casement Cup hurlers narrowly missed out on a finals spot after a hard-fought semi-final against Rathmore Grammar School.
The McLarnon Cup gaelic football team has advanced to the latter stages of the competition after impressive group stage victories over St Eunan’s, Letterkenny, and Rathmore, Belfast.
The action continues in January as they aim for further progress. Preparations are also in full swing for the school’s talented ladies’ teams, with the U-16s securing their place in the finals with a semi-final victory over St Genevieve’s, Belfast.
The team is training hard for what promises to be a challenging final against Gairmscoil Chu Uladh, Donegal.
The U-20 ladies team is gearing up to challenge for the school’s first Ulster honours, with their campaign set to continue this week. Lecale Trinity Grammar School is grateful for the ongoing support from the local business community.
