Get down to Big Apple Gala Ball

Get down to Big Apple Gala Ball

17 October 2018

THERE’S still time to support local suicide prevention work by attending the Big Apple Gala Ball at the Millbrook Lodge, Ballynahinch, this Saturday night.

The ball is being organised by local healthcare provider Trackars Healthcare, and UTV and U105 host Frank Mitchell will host a superb evening in aid of the locally-based Suicide Down to Zero charity.

Guests will have the chance of winning a four-night shopping break for two in New York, sponsored by Trackars, as the top prize in the charity raffle.

Patricia Casement, Trackars Healthcare manager, said she hoped to raise around £5,000 in proceeds for the charity.

“This event is about a celebration of life and it’s for a cause and charity that is very close to the hearts of the staff of Trackars as we have adopted Suicide Down By Zero as our designated charity for this year,” she said.

“There are still some tickets left and we need your support. We’re inviting members of the local community and the business community in the Mourne area to get involved.

“Buy some tickets, bring your friends and colleagues and join us for a night of fun, live music and great food all in aid of a wonderful cause.”

Guests at the event will start their evening with a drinks reception, followed by a three-course gala dinner, hosting and entertainment from Frank Mitchell and live music from The Professionals, featuring Paul McAuley.

Tickets cost £65 and can be arranged by contacting Niamh on 028 4483 0486 or emailing niamh@trackarshealthcare.com.
