THE Drumaness conference of St Vincent de Paul has been re-established and is looking to continue its invaluable work in the community.

Six new members have been appointed to the group, with the local conference acutely aware of the difficulties that many people are going through at this time with the increasing cost of living and the high cost of school uniforms.

The message from the Drumaness conference to anyone who is struggling is “please don’t suffer alone”. It is asking anyone who needs help to get in touch in total confidence via the helpline number 07443 892651 and leave a message.

The local branch of the charity is also keen to hear from people who would be willing to volunteer. Anyone interested is asked to get in touch using the same number.
