MAINSTAY DRP in Downpatrick is celebrating Learning Disability Week, which starts on Monday.
Mainstay DRP support over 300 adults with a learning disability and/or autism through a wide range of services.
These include residential care, supported living, short breaks, and day services across multiple locations in Downpatrick.
It is a dynamic, values-driven organisation with the simple purpose of enriching lives.
A spokesperson said that to mark Learning Disability Week Mainstay DRP is asking this question – ‘do you see me?’.
“We say yes, we do. We see talent, individuality, strength, and potential,” the spokesperson continued.
“Our passionate, highly trained staff work in partnership with the people we support — not just as carers, but as part of one big family.
“Whether it's building independence, forming friendships, or reaching personal goals, every day is about enriching lives.

Mainstay DRP supports giving people independence, inclusion and opportunities every day.
Later this year it will be launching new person-centred day services and programmes to help individuals grow, connect and thrive through day opportunitie.
These services will give more choice and control how support is delivered within a community hub and venues in Downpatrick up to five days per week, Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 3pm.
