FIRST Spa Boys’ Brigade Company held its annual display recently in the Arnold Hall.

The boys put on a varied programme including drill, squad games, figure marching, box work and short dramas. 

Afterwards, a number of prizes were presented with Reuben Kelly receiving the award for Best Anchor Boy.

In the Junior Section, the Inspection Cup was awarded to Kristopher Roberts, with the ure Cup going to George Chambers.

Other award winners were Best New Recruit, Cain Gunda; Endeavour Cup, Teddy Shaw; Promotion Cup, Alex Haughey.

Company Section award winners were Drill, Cole Gunda; Junior Scripture Cup, Jacob Graham; Senior Scripture Cup, Max Crainey; Endeavour Cup, Matt Brown; Senior Badge Work Shield, Freddy Harris; Best Junior Boy, Alexander Chambers and Best Senior Boy, Conor Patterson.

Conor Patterson and Timmy Rodgers received their President’s Badge, while Freddy Harris and Timmy Rodgers were presented with their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award.

The King’s Badge, the highest award in available in the Boys’ Brigade, was received by Max Crainey, Isaac Crane and Ben Spiers.
