Youth club stages festive event in Killyleagh church

KILLYLEAGH Youth In staged A Christmas Carol and the Christmas Story in 2nd Killyleagh Presbyterian Church on Saturday night.

Young people from Killyleagh and Shrigley provided musical contributions including Hallelujah, Feed the World, Silent Night and O Holy Night plus the telling of the Christmas story.

The church minister, Rev. Hirman Higgins, opened the night by welcoming everyone.

The soloists were Kurtis Croskery, Mya Jess and Paulette Rice. The Christmas Story was read by Ellen Brennan, Rowallane DEA Manager of Newry, Mourne and Down Council.

The evening ended in the Lecture Hall with a free visit to Santa for young people of the town, a free selection box and a free hot dog.
