Village improvements plan receives welcome

PLANNED improvements in Drumaroad village have been welcomed by local councillor Pól OGribín.

The local councillor said after recent grass cutting and a general clean up, the village will soon benefit from enhanced flower and shrub planting and the replacement of rotting road safety barriers.

“I want to thank the council and Housing Executive officials for a speedy response to residents’ requests. These improvements will be welcomed by all and will go a long way in improving both road safety & environmental features in the village,” he said.
