Traffic accident victim dies

A 21 year-old man who was badly injured in a traffic accident near Ballynahinch last night has died.

Scott McNeill suffered serious injuries when the car in which he was travelling was involved in an accident between two cars between the Drumalig Road and the Carr Road shortly after 9pm.

A number of other people received treatment for their injuries.

Police are continuing to appeal for anyone who was travelling on the Ballynahinch Road last night and who witnessed the collision to contact officers in Lisburn Police Station or the Collision Investigation Unit in Sprucefield on 101.
