Society success

SIR, — Massive congratulations to the Newcastle Glees Musical Society on their latest production, Sister Act.

I was one of the lucky ones to secure a ticket for one of their sell out shows, with last Saturday night’s production simply outstanding, from the amazing signing to the music and choreography. 

Well done to everyone involved, both those on stage and behind the scenes, particularly Society chairwoman Emma Nugent who played the Mother Superior.

We are so fortunate to have such talented and committed volunteers on our doorstep.
