BLUES guitar legend Ronnie Greer and his band will be bringing their fantastic blues show to Down Arts Centre on Saturday, May 21.

Critically acclaimed Ronnie Greer has been at the forefront of the Irish blues scene for over 40 years due to his distinctive guitar style, Chicago blues licks and bebop jazz lines. His band features some of the country’s finest musicians including Alan Hunter on bass, Colm Fitzpatrick on drums, John McCullogh on keyboards, alongside the soulful vocals of Anthony Toner.

A renowned blues and jazz guitarist, Ronnie’s fingers have added passion and fire to some of the greatest blues bands in the country, including for a time the legendary Jim Daly Blues Band.

As a sideman and front man, he has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in the business, including Dr. John, Lowell Fulson, Phil Guy, Johnny Mars and many more.

The concert on Saturday, May 21 starts at 8pm and the bar is available from 7pm.

Tickets are £12 / £10 concession.
