Reunion planned for Queen's soccer players

SIR, — We are organising a reunion for former member of the Queen’s University Association Football (soccer) Club between the years of 1959 and 1996.

The event is taking place on June 1 this year in the Canada Room at Queen’s and will consist of a reception, dinner and a visual display of photos, match reports, programmes and other memorabilia to add to the fun.

Between 1959 and 1966 we managed to win the inter-varsity Collingwood Cup six times and it is hoped that we shall also have the cup on display at the reunion.

It will be a great opportunity to renew old friendships and we are keen to get together as many club members, officials and supporters from the era for what promises to be a memorable and nostalgic evening.

We would love to hear from anyone who who played at any level or supported the teams between 1959 and 1966 to send them an official invitation.

People may also know a family member or friend who would be interested in the reunion and I would be grateful if they could be informed.
