Portaferry man to join the cream of Nashville on stage

JONNY Reid is sharing the stage with some of Nashville’s finest this week.

The up and coming Portaferry singer/songwriter is taking part in the Belfast Nashville Festival, along with international artists such as Bonnie Bishop.

He is also hitting The Empire in Belfast next week and has a mini-tour planned for the summer of this year.

To date Jonny has supported big name US acts such as Nanci Griffiths and his new single ‘You Lit a Light’ was released last month to great reviews. It is currently available on iTunes.

Acclaimed for his fresh voice, sharp lyrics and contemporary feel, Jonny lists as his influences Foy Vance, Stevie Nicks, Wes Grierson, Bob Dylan, David Gray, Elton John, and U2.

Jonny will be performing at Belfast Nashville on March 8 and at the Empire on March 12.
