Mrs Una McCulla

THE community in Ballynahinch was saddened by the death of Mrs Una McCulla.

Mrs McCulla passed away peacefully at her home, 41 Loughside Drive, Ballynahinch. She was 84

She was born in Magheratimpany and was one of four sisters. She married her late husband, Brian, in February 1956.

A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, her family was very important to her, as were her many friends who were always given a friendly welcome.

She was a diligent worker, having been employed at Drumaness Mill and later at St Colman’s High School in Ballynahinch.

Mrs McCulla is survived by her sons, Pascal and Adrian, daughters Jacqueline and Fiona, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, 11 grandchildren two great grandchildren and by her sisters, Mona, Carmel and Maveen.

Father Des Loughran celebrated requiem mass in St Patrick’s Church, Ballynahinch, on August 31, which was followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.
