Mrs. Mary Cintron

MRS. Mary (Mae) Cintron passed away peacefully in Longwood, Florida, on October 6 surrounded by her children and her husband of 70 years.

She was born Mary Fitzpatrick in Tyrella, Co. Down, in 1924. She was a World War 2 bride and went to the United States with Army Lieutenant Robert Cintron at the end of the war. During the war she became a volunteer nurse.

Mary resided in Key West and Pig Pine Key in Florida. Primarily she was a traditional homemaker, but was also a volunteer school teacher. She was president of Key West High School parent-teacher association in Big Pine Key.

Her final wishes were that everyone should enjoy each day of their lives and give more than they took.

 

Mary is survived by her husband, Robert, children Geri, Robert junior, Yvonne, Vivian and Jeff, grandchildren, great grandchildren and also by her brother, Gerald (Moneymore).
