Mrs. Elizabeth Megoran

THE community in and around Ballynahinch was saddened at the recent death in the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast, of Mrs. Elizabeth Megoran, of 218 Belfast Road, Ballynahinch.

Mrs. Megoran, who was 82, was a devoted wife and mother who took great pride in her family.

Her many interests included gardening and watching Gaelic football, her favourite teams being Loughinisland, Bryansford and Down.

She is survived by her husband, Patrick, daughters Patricia, Maureen and Christine, sons Patrick and Michael, grandchildren Conor, Patrick, Shauna, Lee, Laura, Kyle, Siobhan, Sinead and Roisin, and by two sisters, Anne and Roseleen.

Canon Gerard McCrory celebrated requiem mass in St. Patrick’s Church, Ballynahinch, on March 27, which was followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.
