Mr. Jimmy Hanna

THE death has taken place of Ballynahinch man Mr. Jimmy Hanna. He was 69.

He passed away on August 18 at Strangford Nursing Home surrounded by members of his family. A very popular and well-liked man, Mr. Hanna enjoyed a good life and was always jovial and smiling.

A lover of country music, he was a brilliant dancer and will be sadly missed by his family and everyone who knew him.

Mr. Hanna is survived by his sister Bridget and brother-in-law Patrick, nieces and nephews and a large family circle.

His funeral service in St. John the Baptist Church, Drumaroad, was conducted by Canon McCrory and was followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Mr. Hanna’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on September 22 at 6pm at St. Patrick’s Church, Magheradroll, Ballynahinch.
