Miss Rosemary Watterson

MISS Rosemary Watterson, of 9 Roughal Park, Downpatrick, passed away recently in the Ulster Hospital, Dundonald. She was 70.

Miss Watterson was secretary to the head teacher at Down High School for many years and was a popular and respected member of the school community.

Away from her work she led a quiet life. She was a member of Down Cathedral choir for over 30 years and was a Cub leader. She also enjoyed travelling, but her main interest lay in the family home.

The funeral service in Down Cathedral on Thursday, November 13, was conducted by Dean Henry Hull, the Rev. Marie Walshe and the Rev. Stuart Burns.

The sympathy of the community is extended to her brothers, Alex and Robin.
