Great night at centre

SIR, — Our friends in Downpatrick invited us up last week for a meal and a show.

We went to the Down Arts Centre after a lovely home-cooked meal and were royally entertained by The Tales of the Unexpected. What a very different but enjoyable evening and the elderly man playing Roald Dahl had as frightening a voice as Peter Cushing or Valentine Dyall.

Well done to the council for putting on this show with the Wireless Theatre people.

Yours etc,

CANICE WARE
