GP facing trial over arson

A DOWNPATRICK GP is to stand trial in connection with two alleged arson attacks on his practice.

Dr Hugh McGoldrick also faces six charges of fraud relating to clinical trials carried out at Pound Lane Clinic.

The 58 year-old doctor is due to stand trial at the end of August after a judge determined there was a prima facie case to answer.
