Downpatrick charity is grateful for street collection in town

SIR, — Mainstay DRP would like to thank all those who gave so generously to our street collection held in Downpatrick on Saturday, June 2.

Thanks to the generosity of all who donated, we raised a total of £543.12. Thanks also to all the collectors who gave up their time.

Mainstay DRP, formerly Downe Residential Project, is a local charity based in Downpatrick for people with a learning disability and/or autism. Mainstay DRP provides a range of services from residential care, respite care, supported housing to daycare services which includes a workshop and running the café at the Down County Museum.
