Down Netball Club junior presentations

DOWN Netball Club held their end of season presentation for over 100 junior members from their primary, U-14 and U-16 age groups at the Ballymote Wellbeing Centre last Wednesday.

The presentation marked not only the club’s celebration of over 25 years, but also the individual player and team successes this season.

Club chairperson, Oonagh Murray, and junior coaches presented individual awards for Player of the Year, Sportsperson and Most Improved within each section.

This year the P5 members successfully won the Annual Primary Tournament with the P6/7 members placing as runners-up in their group.

Club members were also treated to a surprise visit from Brennan’s Ice Cream, Seaforde, as their end of year treat.

The club would like to thank all its members, parents and volunteer coaches and committee members for their hard work and support this year.
