Down Arts Centre is wonderful asset

SIR, — Just a few lines to congratulate Down Council for the refurbishment of the Arts Centre in Downpatrick.

The old building looks truly impressive, particularly at night, with the new lighting creating an aura around the Arts Centre.

People entering Downpatrick from Church Street in particular can now marvel at a building which has been given a new lease of life.

The funky new lights add that little extra touch and for those who haven’t yet seen them lit up, take a drive by some evening. It’s well worth the view.
