Congratulations to Dundrum rowers on championship win

SIR, — I wish to congratulate Dundrum Coastal Rowing Club on retaining their title at the Skiffie World Championships.  The club returned to our district with six gold medals, five silver and one bronze.

It was an absolutely fantastic display of determination. The club has a lot to be proud of and I am told that they practice with the same energy and enthusiasm that they brought to the championships.

I note that the club are seeking to attain a boat house.

I want to see input from local council,. This is the type of organisation we should be supporting and promoting. I wish the club every continued success in the future.
