Congratulations to Ciara after success at awards

SIR, — I would like to congratulate Recorder reporter Ciara Colhoun on winning the weekly newspaper journalist of the year title.

This is the second year in a row that a reporter from the Recorder has won the award with Joanne Fleming winning the title last year.

Ciara is a true professional and I am pleased her skills have been recognised by her peers across the newspaper industry.

She is always courteous and extremely helpful, with her reporting of the highest standard. Ciara’s efforts across many aspects of newspaper reporting have rightly been honoured.
