Community network looking for men

THE Co Down Rural Community Network is looking for men.

The organisation is specifically looking for men aged between 18 and 35 who live in the district, are unemployed, interested in getting involved in their community and making healthier choices.

In just under two weeks’ time, the Network is launching a Men Matters initiative at Owenbeg Bowling Club in Downpatrick

The free initiative, which starts on January 28, will run for six weeks between 11am and 1pm, featuring opportunities to try out new activities including archery and drumming.

Breakfast butties will be provided to participants on arrival, with free transport for anyone living outside Downpatrick.
