In the U-12 section the eagerly anticipated Champions League final between Germany and Italy was a one-sided affair as Italy thrashed Germany 9-0 in the U-12 Champions League final.

The absence of key Germany players Christy McAllen, Arthur Johnston and Conor Mullen effectively meant that this game was a no contest with Germany failing to complete the league and cup double.

Conn Murnin continued his great goalscoring form with another hat-trick and was ably supported by Oisin Mulholland who also got three and Adam Kennedy scored two.

Italy strolled to victory with Adam Hession, Zach Miskelly, Hannah Perry and Conor Simpson also starring for the Champions League winners.

U-12 FA Cup final

In a much closer contest Ireland defeated England 2-1 in the FA Cup final. The impressive Joshua Smyth put Ireland ahead with an early goal and Ellen Morgan added a second shortly afterwards.

However, in the second half England began to dominate with Aaron O’Toole and Michael Beatty influential. Beatty brought England back into the game with a well taken goal and Kirsty Maginnes had two great opportunities to send the game into a penalty shoot-out, but failed on both occasions. Ireland held on for a narrow victory with Andrew McClurg and John Spratt also performing well for the winners.

U-12 League Cup final

In the League Cup final Holland were awarded the trophy when Spain were unable to field.

The Holland players played a Select side which the players enjoyed and afterwards Andrew Casement, Reuben Lennon, Shay Lynas, Curtis Ross and Courtney Teggart were presented with their trophy and their McDonalds goodie bags.
