Claragh Bridge Show to help charities

Claragh Bridge Show to help charities

22 July 2015

THE 12th annual Claragh Bridge Vintage Show will take place on Saturday at Drumaroad.

For those who like to see vintage tractors and cars, there will be an impressive selection on show. The registration forms have been sent out but if you have a vintage car or tractor and you would like to enter the show, you can register your vehicle on the day.

For those looking for a fun day out there are activities to suit all ages. In the main hospitality marquee there will be various demonstrations from flower arranging to soda bread making.

The craft village with various stalls is sure to work up an appetite and in the hospitality marquee there will be a selection of homemade stews, sandwiches and sweet treats. There will also be a numbers of stalls and vans in the outside food village with seating if you just want to soak up the sun over chips and ice cream.

For children there will be a  bouncy castle. This year we are also adding a bouncy slide and rodeo bull to the line up of activities. There will also be face painting and a magic show.

You don’t have to go to beach for a donkey ride as there will be two donkeys at the show looking for small jockeys.

For the big farmers there are the vintage tractors or steam engines and for the carpet farmers there will a model farm display. There will be a number of side shows to keep everyone entertained including the popular tug of war.

One of the show’s named Charities this year, Diabetes UK NI will be carrying out free risk assessments in the marquee and giving advice and information.

There are a number of exhibitors, stalls and something of interest for everyone.
