Charity event a big success

SIR, — On Sunday, June 3 a charity fundraiser took place at the Round House Bar in Downpatrick in aid of MacMillan Cancer Support.

For the third year in succession we had a big turnout and it was great craic for everyone who attended. We raised £1,220.96 which we couldn’t have done without the help of our family and friends on the day.

We would like to thank everyone who were kind enough to donate gifts and vouchers as prizes.
