Candles of Hope event

SIR, - The Downpatrick Committee of Cancer Research UK would like to thank everyone who supported our Candles of Hope event at the Asda store on October 15.
Thanks to the generosity of all those who bought candles, the amount raised was £732. A special word of thanks to staff at Asda and to Mr. Damian Trainor for supplying the sand.
