Bells staff get ready for four- day challenge for kids’ charity

6 May 2015

TWO members of staff from Bell’s Crossgar are to take on a high-endurance cycling challenge from France to Coventry to support and raise money for Children in Need.

Chris Jess and Eamon Bell will be starting from the Paris HQ of Peugeot and cycling for four days to the finish line at Peugeot’s Coventry Headquarters. The Charity Bike Challenge will be taking place on May 21-24.

Speaking of the challenge, Eamon said: “The charity cycle will be the biggest piece of fundraising we have done to date and certainly one of the most challenging things I have ever set out to complete.

“Any donations no matter how big or small would be greatly appreciated and will go a long way in helping us reach our target of £2000.”

The cycling challenge is just one of many fundraising events taking place at Peugeot dealerships across the country, to help the automotive brand reach its £1m target for its third year of its official partnership with BBC Children in Need.

Bells Crossgar have been actively involved every year raising money for the charity and will also be holding a charity car wash with Pudsey the Bear on May 8 and 9.

Chris Jess, Peugeot Sales Manager at Bell’s Crossgar, said: “We’re both really looking forward to taking on this challenge for such a great cause, which helps disadvantaged children and young people across the country.”
