Ballynahinch’s Lauren makes NI U-17 debut

CONGRATULATIONS from everyone at Ballynahinch Ladies to goalkeeper Lauren Perry, who made her international debut for Northern Ireland U-17 Girls against Hungary last Thursday.

Lauren, who came through the ranks of Ballynahinch Youth, is already an U-15 international and to be called up to the U-17 squad at 14 is a great achievement. Well done Lauren from all at the club.

The ladies have one league game left against Ambassadors Ladies next Tuesday, September 8, at Holme Park, the home of Armagh City. This is an exciting end to the season as Ambassadors need the points to win the league.

The last game between the sides was close with Ambassadors just shading a semi-final win in the Divisional Cup and Ballynahinch will be striving to pick up the three points.

• The presentation awards night has been arranged for Friday, September 25, at the Primrose in Ballynahinch. Further details to follow.
