Ardglass festival success

SIR, — On behalf of the Ardglass Festival Association, I would like to thank all those who supported last Friday night’s Christmas event at the village marina.

This includes all those who spent time regarding the preparation of the tree, the erection of the grotto, the night’s entertainers, the choir and, of course, everyone who donated to the PIPS appeal which raised £173,29.

The festival committee has decided to increase this figure to £200.
