AT the last of the NI Championships qualifiers of the season, the locally-based Trampoline Network took another haul of medals.

Eve Ryden took silver in the 11-12 years novice category with a score of 43.7 — an excellent result in her first ever competition.

In the National Development Plan (NDP) Level 1, the club gained another five medals — two bronze, two silver and a gold.

Again in their first ever competition Conor Marcus came third with 37.7 in the 9-10 years boys, Rowan Hynds came third in the 11-12 years boys and Corey McShane took silver in the 13-14 years boys.

Further to their success in the last qualifier a couple of weeks ago, PJ Grant and Conor Napier meddalled again.

PJ came second to take the silver medal in the 11-12 years boys with 45.9 and Conor Napier took gold in the 13-14 years boys event with 36.1.

Both PJ and Conor will be joining three other members of The Trampoline Network team in the NI Championships at De La Salle College on November 14.

In the NDP 1 level Ryan Black had previously qualified and the club’s two highest level performers, Anna Boe (NDP5) and Eoin McNalley (NDP 6), have also qualified.

This is the club’s most successful year. Never before have more than four trampolinists  the championships before. The club will be hoping to add to their recent medal success.

The club trains in the Ballymote Sports and Welbeing Centre, Downpatrick, on Saturdays and Lough Moss Leisure Centre, Carryduff, on Sundays.
